Westfield Chodov and the New Mango Man Store
In February 2026, a new Mango Man store opened at Westfield Chodov. To create a space that met the tenant’s requirements, it was necessary to merge two retail units into one and carry out modifications to part of the Shell & Core, allowing the subsequent fit-out to proceed efficiently and within the required timeline.
ABMV was involved in the preparation and coordination phase of the project. We prepared the technical analysis and a preliminary cost estimate, based on which the Shell & Core modification project was subsequently developed. The solution also included setting up the technical interfaces for the following construction phases and coordinating key details so that the modifications could be carried out within the operating environment of the shopping centre.
From an implementation perspective, a particularly important element was the shopfront across two height levels, including a double-height shopfront section. This type of facade and entrance solution requires precise coordination across disciplines, a high level of execution accuracy, and careful integration with structural and technical elements.
The project was also an example of international cooperation: Spanish design, a Romanian construction company, and Czech coordination on the landlord’s and tenant’s side. This combination required clearly defined technical communication and precise coordination of requirements throughout both the preparation and construction phases.
